Just think about that, 13 episodes - 13 weeks of stories that unfold every week

It’s cool, of course, but at some point I couldn’t even think of what to write because the week has been extremely routine in many ways, and the main focus is still on recovery and all that, but I do have something to say

Bandaging my wound, walking the dogs, cleaning up after the dogs

This week, for example, they caught and ate a bird on the porch. You come home and there’s a bloody fucking massacre on your couch, with the poor bird’s remains scattered all over the blanket and the couch. And while they were at it, they shit all over my favorite hoodie, which has been with me - if I’m not lying - for about seven years, maybe a little longer. I think it went with me to Iceland, and that feels like it was in another life

Basically, these woolly devils keep me from getting cooped up at home, and they add a bit of variety to the whole routine, though sometimes they take unnecessary risks with their own safety. But if any of them ends up six feet under, it’s their own bad luck

And yes, I still love dogs, even if that love is put to the test almost every day

According to the doctor, my recovery is going extremely well - at least that’s what he says. Given the nature of the wound and its location, I can’t really judge for myself, so I’ll have to take his word for it for now, and then you’ll have to take mine

There’s a good chance that after VivaTech in Paris, I’ll finally be able to return to Germany to recover and finish my treatment there

But we’ll see - I’m not ready to say anything about it or make any plans just yet

By the way, if any Parisians are reading this and will be at VT, come say hi - we’ll have a booth there on Saturday, and we can meet and chat in person

And finally, this week I’m meeting with my lawyers at City Hall to make one last attempt at an out-of-court settlement regarding the return of my apartment deposit. If that doesn’t work out - well, then fuck it - I’ll just have to take it to the commission and then to court

See you soon, and take care !
