Somehow the week just flew by; overall, I can’t say I was doing much of anything besides recovering. The whole week was like a classic version of Groundhog Day: I woke up, the nurse came in, changed my bandages, and then it was work, eat, sleep
On the bright side, the doctors say the healing is going pretty well, and it’ll probably take another couple of months before I can get back to my usual routine. That’s definitely good news
I’ve started seeing friends again on a fairly regular basis, and I’ve been heading over to Station F again - just a couple of times so far, but since they haven’t blocked my pass, I might as well take advantage of it
This whole apartment situation is turning into such a complete farce that I don’t even know whether to laugh or cry. It’s just a total mess with no end in sight. The funniest part is that with every move the agency makes, they just dig themselves deeper into a hole - why? … There’s no answer; they must have decided we’re just dumb foreigners who won’t do anything about it. They were wrong - we will ...
Corresponding with them certainly feels more like a legal hassle at this point, but what can you do? All in all, since the outcome of this whole exchange seems a foregone conclusion, all that’s left is to ask my wife for a power of attorney so I can officially act on her behalf in court if necessary, and then hit send on the formal complaint to the commission - and just wait for the time to pass until the first hearing

We'll see how it goes and how it turns out; I'll post updates on this from time to time. Although there's not much to write about yet, because they generally aren't very responsive to these emails
So, next week will go something like this: I hope our startup’s CEO will fully enjoy the trip and the exhibition in Luxembourg, while I’ll be preparing for VivaTech in Paris and supervising students from SKEMA BS who are submitting their AI projects this year. I’ll also check out a couple of projects from the new Fighters cohort at Station F; I’ve already met one of them and its founder this week, but there are a couple more that I’m curious about
See you later, and take care - I'm off to get some rest !
