The first day after the surgery is going pretty well overall, even though it's completely fucked up outside and the thermometer is showing brain-melting heat

I really didn't expect to spend the weekend under the surgeon's knife, and then find out that I have a very long recovery ahead of me

As you can see, I’m staying in France for an as-yet-undetermined period of time. Or rather, for at least eight days, because I have to go back to the hospital to make sure the healing process is going smoothly

Plus, I need to change the bandage every day, but the hospital issued a prescription at the request of a medical specialist
