There’s a surprisingly interesting fact about wildlife photography. No matter how long you prepare for a shot, how hard you search for it, or what you endure - like I did today, running through an open field to escape a sudden hailstorm - more often than not, the very reason you picked up your camera in the first place happens completely by chance

Meet the **Common Buzzard**, that little bastard who has been bothering me ever since I moved to Germany, flying over the fields and taunting me from the very moment I first saw it in the sky

Speaking of luck - I took this photo just as I was almost back home, soaked to the skin and thinking I should probably come back to this in the evening. And there he was, perched on the sign, and thanks to my quick reflexes, I managed to spot him just before he flew away
